Community Workshop on Waste Solution and Alternatives to Waste Incineration

We are to organize a community workshop exploring real solution for waste problems facing the city of Wuhu. Invited guests, aiming at 30 participants, would include community leaders, local governmental representatives, resident representative, NGOs and business, to discuss implementable solution to waste problems. We are also going to present our results on research of information disclosure of waste incineration facilities around the country. Wuhu Ecology Center has conducted numerous requests on information disclosure of waste treatment and pollution control data of incinerators in various provinces. The workshop would also debate on alternatives to waste incineration.

From the event, a clear road map for waste solution at local level can be envisioned. Social media and local media coverage of the event. In long term, it helps strengthen our continuous work on waste issues.
