Film Festival on Road to Zero waste in Sri Lanka; Reducing the use of Plastic Bags and Packaging through shifting Consumer Habits

During the Zero waste month 2024, CEJ expects to screen movies related to plastic pollution in 4 (four) sessions within the month, using the CEJ mobile LED screen to sensitize the public on plastic pollution and taking personal measures to reduce/ prevent it. A leaflet will be distributed among spectators on shifting towards plastic alternatives, refill and re-use systems. It is expected that this film festival in public will induce people to think of alternatives to replace the use of plastic and polythene.
