Karnaval KemBali Ajeg: Bali Tempo Doeloe, Sing Ade Lulu

January 12, 2024 - January 14, 2024

Our Plastic Free Carnival, themed ‘Bali Ajeg,’ is a dynamic initiative to reduce single-use plastic consumption. This carnival, the first of its kind, commemorates Youth Pledge Day and aligns with Governor Regulation Number 97/2018 targeting single-use plastic waste reduction in Bali.
Taking place at the bustling Car Free Day Point, this 2023 carnival serves as the focal point of a month-long series in October. It will actively involve high school and university students from across Bali, empowering them to educate the public on the urgency of curbing single-use plastics.
Immediate outputs include heightened awareness, public education, and community engagement, while long-term outcomes encompass behavioral change, policy impact, and the fostering of sustainable practices. This event plays a pivotal role in building a movement toward a greener Bali, rallying the community, and driving lasting change to minimize the use of harmful single-use plastics.
