Phaltan Zero Waste Month kickoff: New Year’s music show with folk songs and karaoke on “ChooseReuse: A Just Zero Waste Future.”

Eco Circular India Foundation, in collaboration with Cummins India Foundation, Phaltan Nagar Parishad, Forest Department, Government of Maharashtra, GAIA, and Mudhoji College of Phaltan Education Society, is hosting the International Zero Waste Month in Phaltan from January 1st to January 31st, 2024.
Week 1 – Zero Waste Month Launch (January 1-5) includes the following activities:
1)New Year’s evening at Forest Park with a music show featuring folk songs and karaoke on “ChooseReuse: A Just Zero Waste Future” by Mudhoji College students from the Kalavishkar (Art & Music department). This kickoff event blends entertainment with a compelling message of environmental responsibility.
2)Flash mobs in public places using street plays and a rap song on Zero Waste, followed by a quiz at three locations.
3)Showcase of Zero Waste champions’ case stories, highlighting composting and zero waste lifestyle adaptations.
