Week 1: Unleashing the Zero Waste Spirit (Jan. 1-5)
• 01-01-2024: Dive into the festivities with a New Year’s Music Show at Nana Nani Park, Near Vimantal Phaltan, organized by the Kala Avishakar Department, Mudhoji College.
• 02-01-2024: Immerse yourself in the energy of a Flash Mob, featuring street plays, a rap song on Zero Waste, and a thrilling Quiz at ST Stand, Mudhoji College, Baramati chowk, Agriculture college, and Forest garden. Organized by the Kala Avishakar Department, Mudhoji College.
• 03-01-2024: Witness the passion with video interviews of Zero Waste Champions (5) and street vendors (1) organized by the dynamic Eco Circular Team and ECF team.
Week 2: Pledges Against Plastic (Jan. 6-12)
• 08-01-2024: Join the movement as local communities make commitments and pledges against single-use plastics at various locations. Organized by NSS and NCC Students Department and sport at the Zero Waste Pledge Drive at City Level.
Week 3: Youth-Led Cleanliness Drive & Composting Wisdom (Jan. 13-19)
• 09-01-2024: Experience the enthusiasm with a Youth-Led Cleanliness Drive at Viman Tal and Forest park, organized by Cummins India Employee, NSS and NCC Students Department and sport.
• 10-01-2024: Unlock the secrets of composting at Forest Park and witness organic management best practices showcased during the Women festival “Haldi-Kumkum” at three locations. Organized by Environment and Sustainability Cell and NSS and NCC Students Department.
Week 4: Cinematic Revelations through Waste Incineration and Climate Change Films (Jan. 20-26)
