Story of Plastic, an African Perspective to a Global Crisis

We are planning to organize a movie screening on the 12 th of January with youths from Mboa Hub (Yaounde) to raise their awareness about plastic and it’s adverse effects.
At the end of the Movie Screening, we will decide how to carry out a Vox Pop and sit up on the 19th or 20th of January to really draw community attention to the plastic crisis.
We are expecting about 40 participants from 15-40yo during the movie screening and about 50-100 participants during the sit-up.

The activities aim is to have more youths engaged to act against plastic pollution and who can join a series of activities to tackle plastic pollution in Cameroon through Vox Pop in the streets and a sit-up near one of the 1st polluters in Cameroon: SABC ( brewery).
The day of the sit up and timeline will discuss and adopt together after the movie screening.
