WASTE WORKERS’ APPRECIATION DAY

The Waste Workers’ Appreciation Day will be held on January 28, 2023, from 3:00 pm at the Malabon Sports Complex, Malabon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

With the theme, “Recognizing Waste Workers’ Contribution as Front Liners throughout the Pandemic”, the appreciation day aims to gather waste workers to:
1. Recognize the waste workers’ valuable contribution to the implementation of the national law – Republic Act 9003, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic;
2. Highlight the waste workers’ efforts and initiatives toward environmental protection; and,
3. Raise the morale of waste workers and uphold the dignity of our labor.
Waste workers will also receive gift packs and will be pampered with love through our free haircut, manicure & pedicure, and massage services; immunization, medical/dental, and eye check-ups; and, the warm company of the WWA family.
